ICC U19 World Cup 2024: Full schedule and match venues for the men’s under-19 Cricket World Cup

The ICC has officially released the schedule for the 2024 U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup, including details about the match venues. Here’s the complete list of fixtures and locations for the tournament.

Next year, Sri Lanka will host a cricket tournament with 16 participating teams at five different venues, marking its return as hosts since 2006. The tournament opener will feature Sri Lanka against Zimbabwe.

In the previous year, India emerged victorious in the competition by defeating England in the final. Notable players like Rehan Ahmed, Dewald Brevis, and Dunith Wellalage made their senior international debuts after their standout performances.

The tournament format has been modified, with teams divided into four groups of four during the group stage from January 13 to 21. The top three teams from each group will advance to the Super Six stage, consisting of two groups of six.

Additionally, the fourth-placed teams in each group will play an extra match. The Super Six stage will feature the top three teams from Group A and Group D in one group and Group C and Group B in the other. Each team will play two matches in the Super Six stage, with opponents determined by their group stage rankings.

The top two teams from each group in the Super Six stage will proceed to the semifinals on January 30 and February 1. The tournament’s final match will take place on Sunday, February 4.

The groups for the initial stage of the tournament have already been determined: Group A (India, Bangladesh, Ireland, and USA), Group B (England, South Africa, West Indies, and Scotland), Group C (Australia, Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka, and Namibia), and Group D (Afghanistan, Pakistan, New Zealand, and Nepal).
